My name is Alena Poulin, and I'm a science communications professional. Currently, my work is primarily in research communications for Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics.  Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several incredible projects that have allowed me to grow and establish myself within this competitive industry. In December 2023, I completed my M.A. in Mass Communications at the University of Florida with the capstone project Storm Memory - a series of multimedia stories that explore how our memory of past hurricanes can help communities prepare for the stormy times ahead.
